Ecumenical Not Ecumenist introduces the purpose, identity and vision of the project.
The video begins with a series of critical and disparaging descriptions of True Orthodox and Old Calendarist Christians from online commentators, before turning toward the lived reality of the Church itself: clergy, faithful, concelebrations, missions and the voices of those who belong to the Genuine Orthodox Church and her Sister Churches.
Through this contrast, the video asks viewers to look beyond caricatures and internet commentary and consider the people, history and ecclesiology of True Orthodoxy on their own terms.
Ecumenical Not Ecumenist exists to provide information, outreach, representation and apologetics through accessible media, primary sources and the witness of the Church.

Why This Project Exists
Ecumenical Not Ecumenist was created in response to the growing need for clear, accessible and professional True Orthodox content online.
The project is primarily intended to serve the faithful of the Genuine Orthodox Church and her Sister Churches — especially young people, converts and newcomers — while also providing a clear point of reference for sincere inquirers outside the Church.
Our aim is to facilitate informative conversation, sincere representation and respectful apologetics, while directing viewers toward primary sources and official Church material wherever possible.
Official Status
Ecumenical Not Ecumenist is an independent and unofficial media project.
Our content is produced with the blessing, guidance and review of clergy and hierarchs within the Genuine Orthodox Church of Greece and her Sister Churches, but the project itself is not an official organ of any Synod.
For formal statements of faith, theology and ecclesiastical positions, readers should consult the relevant Holy Synods and official Church publications directly.
